About the trust

Cookie Time Charitable Trust is primarily funded by Cookie Time Limited, through its annual Christmas Cookies campaign. Each year, the Trust receives a donation from sales of Christmas Cookies, amounting to more than $2 million to date.

In 2024, the Christmas Cookies campaign is aiming to raise $200,000 for charity, with funds to go to the Trust to support this year’s headline charity, Dyslexia Foundation of New Zealand plus other CTCT initiatives, including the OSM Young Talent Grants programme. Previous headline charities have been KidsCan, the Blind Foundation, St John and Assistance Dogs New Zealand. Christmas Cookies are the real taste of a Kiwi Christmas – always a sweet festive gift or treat to share with family, friends and colleagues. Proudly made in New Zealand from real chocolate and real ingredients.

Available each year in all your favourite flavours, presented in vibrant collectible Cookie Muncher bucket designs, with the buckets able to be recycled or put to all sorts of good use – from sandcastle buckets and peg baskets to toy storage.

Christmas Cookies are available online or from local sellers – tertiary students who run their own cookie-selling businesses in the seven weeks leading up to Christmas. The campaign gives these young entrepreneurs a unique opportunity to team up with an iconic Kiwi brand and gain invaluable business experience for future employment or other entrepreneurial ventures.
